born and raised in germany in ’99, the independent artist moritz gabriel now likes to spend time in places that are less familiar to him. he loves seeing new places and perspectives and capturing his new impressions with his camera, as well as writing about them. his open personality enables him to forge extraordinary encounters and relationships, and this is exactly what he lives for. the tales of „tintin et milou“ have inspired him since childhood. now, he aspires to live a similar life, moving from one adventure to the next and experiencing exciting stories, to tell about — perhaps one day also with a four-legged friend at his side.
in his personal projects, he embraces the spirit of the times through his appearance, and as someone who is perceived as male, he confronts current expectations of masculinity.
he explores social and structural themes such as vulnerability, the pressure to perform, responsibility, and measurable success.
